Humanitarian Gang Inc. Hosts Successful Back 2 School Drive Thru Giveaway in Middle Georgia
Humanitarian Gang Inc. recently celebrated the success of its second annual Back 2 School Drive Thru Giveaway, held in the heart of the Middle Georgia community. This event, a beacon of hope and support for local families, was hosted in collaboration with U Create Macon at their newest Innovation Center.
A Community Effort
With the collective effort of various partners and donors, the event saw the distribution of approximately 375 bookbags filled with essential school supplies to children in need. Each family also received sack lunches provided by Humanitarian Gang Inc., along with cold beverages generously donated by Kroger, Macon Coca-Cola Bottling Company UNITED, Society of St. Andrews End Hunger, Andre’s Lawn Care, LLC, and Castaneda’s Painting.
Gifts and Gratitude
In addition to school supplies, each family walked away with event shirts, printed by Exposed Ink screen printing and custom t-shirt design. Over 50 dedicated volunteers were instrumental in making the event a success. As a token of appreciation, they were gifted with custom water bottles, unlimited beverages, and event t-shirts provided by Simply Maria Inc. from Macon, GA. The volunteers also enjoyed freshly squeezed lemonade from young entrepreneurs; The Duo Lemonade Stand, sponsored by Humanitarian Gang Inc.
Media and Coverage
The event garnered significant media attention, with radio ads and coverage sponsored by Tex James Radio on Power 107.1 and local news coverage by 13wmaz. These efforts ensured that the community was well-informed and engaged.
Generous Donations
The event was supported by numerous donors, including Helping Hands Gen Nonprofit, The Hively Family of Byron, GA, AEM Services, LLC. out of Fort Valley, GA, The Hudson - Alabre Family of Jacksonville, FL, and the up-and-coming business and clothing brand Welcome To Jams World. Photography and videography services were provided by Summer of 96, capturing the day’s highlights beautifully. Seviin Healing Positive Energy and Untouched Hustle of Macon, GA also contributed, with Untouched Hustle donating a raffle item.
Inclusivity and Support
The M.A.D.E. Foundation from Atlanta, GA, played a crucial role by providing sign language services for hearing-impaired recipients and donating time and school supplies, ensuring inclusivity and support for all attendees.
A Successful Outcome
The Back 2 School Drive Thru Giveaway was a resounding success, showcasing the power of community collaboration and the generous spirit of Middle Georgia. Humanitarian Gang Inc. extends its heartfelt thanks to all partners, donors, and volunteers who made this event possible. Together, we are making a significant impact, one bookbag at a time.
